Year 5 and 6 Inspired by Cyanotype Artist
Year 5 and 6 took part in an exciting art workshop last Thursday, run by local Cyanotype artist Libby Mornement from her company Bloemen and Blue.
The workshop married Science and Art brilliantly, with the children learning about the history of this ancient photographic printing method. They then produced cyan blue prints with a selection of recycled materials and photosensitive paper.
The children were fascinated by the process and were inspired by seeing the artist’s work up close. Thank you to Libby for engaging our pupils with this unique experience!
