Year 2 'Farm to Fork' visit to the Goat Farm

This week the children in Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed a visit to Avebury's 'Gourmet Goat Farm' to kick off their new unit of work 'Farm to Fork'.

Pupils thoroughly enjoyed meeting the goats and learning about how the farmer cares for them. They learnt about the products which come from the farm and how they are produced.

They then went into the fields and learnt about the farm's wheat production before making their very own pancakes, using ingredients from the farm! Yum!
