After much anticipation, our Year 1 children were delighted to take a ride in the minibus to Weston-super-Mare!
In class, the children had been considering different features of seaside towns, both physical and human. They had also been learning about how seaside towns might have changed over time, and how people's holiday habits may also have changed.
On a sunny day in June, the children took their learning to Weston-super-Mare. They loved spotting the different aspects of seaside towns they had learnt about, and enjoyed a trip to the pier, donkey rides, a picnic on the beach and of course, playing in the sand!
What a lovely way to end their time in Year 1!
