On June 30th, our school community came together for a slightly soggy but hugely successful Sports Afternoon!
Pupils in Year 1- Year 6 enjoyed an afternoon of friendly competition, as they proudly represented their houses Avebury, Bowood, Littlecote and Longleat.
The children enjoyed a range of different sporting activities which had been carefully set-up by our Sports Team, who had ensured each age range was well-catered for. We had the long jump, the traditional egg and spoon race, long-distance running for our older Prep pupils, obstacle and balancing races, target and goal games and of course, the slightly more competitive sprint races, where the children were cheered on by their parents watching on the sidelines!
Well done to everyone who took part and gave it their all, winning lots of points for their houses. A special congratulations to our winning house this year... Avebury!
