Grandparents' Tea
On Friday 19th May, we were delighted to welcome some very special visitors to school - our Grandparents! It wasn't the sunny day we had planned, but the rain and thunder did not stop play.
We hosted nearly over 100 St Margaret's grandparents, godparents, relatives and friends who enjoyed tea and cake before joining their grandchildren in their classrooms for a range of different activities, as well as the opportunity to take a look at all their fantastic work.
We are not sure who enjoyed it most - the children or our visitors, but seeing our children greet their grandparents with such joy as they entered their classrooms was wonderful to see!
Many grandparents had travelled to visit the school - some from as far as Cornwall. We were thrilled to have them with us, and hope everyone enjoyed the day as much as we did!
