Celebrating St Margaret's at Prize Giving

On Friday 30th June, we were delighted to open our doors to our parents and wider community, who joined us for a tour of the school and our Annual Prize Giving.

The morning started with pupils proudly showing their parents all the fantastic work they have completed over the course of the year. The school looked amazing - our teachers had showcased their creativity with the most wonderful displays to truly show off all the work the pupils had created.

We then made our way to the marquee for an address from Mr Bromwich, who celebrated each and every pupil's efforts over the course of the year. He shared his own 'learning journey' - the challenge of learning to skateboard and the obstacles he has faced and what he had done to find his way out of what he explains is the 'learning pit'. We also welcomed on stage Mrs Pearce, Chairman of the St Margaret's Committee who congratulated the children and then Scientist, TV Presenter and Ambassador for STEM education, Mr Dallas Campbell presented this year's prizes before giving his own amusing and engaging speech, which included a rocket launch!
