A New Format for our Informal Performing Arts Concerts
Children from Littlecote and Avebury performed brilliantly this week at their Informal Performing Arts Concerts. This year, we chose to deliver our Informal Concerts in houses, so that children from across the school could perform together, to their parents and fellow 'housemates'.
Our house system facilitates mixing between our year groups – something we now especially cherish since the pandemic. Representing a house in Sport, Music or working hard to earn a house point is key in promoting a community spirit amongst our pupils.
Mr Bromwich explains:
'Opportunities like the Informal Concerts, where pupils perform to an audience, in an informal, supportive setting are invaluable in developing confidence and it was wonderful this week to see the progression across the year groups and the pride everyone took in delivering their pieces. We look forward to Bowood and Longleat’s concerts which will take place over the next few weeks.'
Well done to all those pupils in Littlecote and Avebury who took to the stage this week!
