EYFS Celebrate the Year of the Dragon!
On Friday 9th February, our Nursery and Reception classes enjoyed a Chinese feast to celebrate the start of the Year of the Dragon!
Throughout the week, the children had been busy learning about this exciting time of year and all the celebrations and traditions associated with it.
They were lucky enough to be joined by Ian, Karina, Shyia and Mrs Wang, who came to share how they celebrate Chinese New Year. The children loved seeing all of the different decorations and photos of how Chinese New Year is celebrated in China!
Friday's feast was the perfect end to a busy week - the children thoroughly enjoyed tasting all of the different foods and listening to some festive music! Happy New Year of the Dragon!
